Hi, I hope someone has experience with this because I am confused! We are installing a pellet stove into a existing 6" chimney.
I purchased a 3" to 6" adapter (see attached pic) and now understand I need a DVL adapter (pic attached)
I also attached a pic of the ceiling. Does anyone know how all this attaches and do we need anything else?

The DVL adapter should snap into your ceiling support box.
The 3-6 adapter should snap onto the DVL, but you should
attach it securely with three screws as well.

If the double wall has the single wall adapter just leave a 4 inch piece of 6 inch extended down and slide the 6 inch end of the adapter over that. Put a generous amount of high temp silicone on the inside of the adapter and fasten it with three screws as was stated prior.

Thank you for the quick responses sounds pretty easy. I have ordered the DVL and hopefully it will install with no problems....

We were able to snap the DVL into the ceiling support box and screwed in the round cover but the 3-6 insch adapter does not snap in it slides over it and is loose? Any ideas what happened?
