I just realized that i used an rtv silicone rated at 400 deg continuous burn and 500 deg intermittent burn to seal my vent. It was the product they sold me at the pellet stove store. I think I used the right product. I am guessing that the heat from the pellet exhaust won't go pass 400 deg. Can some one please just give me a cornfirmation. Thank you again in advance.

I don't use a pellet stove. But I seem to remember reading here somewhere that high temp RTV is ok for pellet stove venting pipe.
Someone with a pellet stove please come to th front desk.

HI temp silicone has so little extra temp tolerance over standard clear, it's not even worth it.
