Questuon, Why not put a 6 or 8 way wedge on the splitter and not wrestle the chunks around so much?

Nice setup. The wire rope termination makes me a little nervous though. I'd like to see a thimble and it is hard to tell what sort of hardware you used. I would hate for you to have a totally preventable accident.
