I don't know if it has been burning like this all the time, and I have never noticed, or, it has just started doing this.
Either way, I would like to know if it is just me, or how it is.
I noticed that my stove burns from the bottom front to back. Is this normal? Or, should I start looking for an air leak?

Thank you.

My BK, like your king, burns from front to back down the middle 50% of the firebox. Then the two sides become independent fires that eventually fall into the middle or burn to nothing simultaneously.

A good door gasket seal is very important on these BK stoves in order to keep the cat from getting blasted with cold leaked air, and also to keep the thermostat in control of the amount of intake air. It doesn't cost anything to check that door gasket seal regularly.

My Princess used to leave a horseshoe shaped pile of coals since the air came right doen the bottom middle, I would just rake them into a pile in the middle to burn them down.
