I cut down a Magnolia tree that was too close to my house. It was a monster. I chipped all the limbs but kept most of the big wood and split it with plans of burning it. Probably split almost three cords. Let me know if any of you have ever burned any of this and if so how well does it burn. Thanks.

It's listed as easy to split and burn, putting out moderate heat. Not too bad.

Might be similar to Tulip Poplar, which is also in the Magnolia Family. May not be the longest-burning fuel, but could be useful nonetheless.
