I'm not sure, but I think it was Lake girl who got me thinking. She started searching brand of pellets on the internet. It's interesting. We all get confused with brand names and private labels. I found out, there are 2 North Country names out there. One from Michigan, and one from pellet heaven, the northwest. Look at the link.

The test results are awesome.

I searched the Cadillac, Okanagan, Here is a press release from them. It makes me worried we don't really know what's in an Okie bag. Can anyone tell me what's going on. It worries me when their CEO says they will ship equal or better product than they are producing I thought they were the best. Are all pellet companies private branding and selling their own label also. And are some building a brand but switching to different manufacture's each year.

not sure these links are going to work, but you get the idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From my experience thus far, the pellet brands that I've dealt with and researched in the Pacific Northwest are tied to local lumber mills. Research using the bar code can also tell a lot of the story, but not always.
