I just scrough 2 trailer load. The owner said it is Maple? Is he right. Mix in the load have some other spices too not idea what it is.

Smaller ones look like your maple. Larger ones some type of oak

Looks to all be soft maple. Some of you may be confusing the drying cracks for Rays. Post pictures of the last 2 split and I should be able to tell you for sure.

2nd could be oak, need to see a pic a split to be sure.

Looks like red maple.
