Hello everyone. New member here and I'm hoping for some help.

I have a PelPro wood pellet stove and the igniter isn't working. The light on the control panel lights, but the igniter does not get hot (new igniter). I have verified that the igniter work by plugging it directly to a socket.

I have read posts that say it may be a fuse. I have an Accutron II control panel and cannot find a fuse on the back.

I checked the connector for the igniter and I have power coming from it with the stove off but plugged in.

I hope I provided enough info to get some help.

Thanks in advance !!

Bill

Welcome Bill. Is this a new stove to you or something you've had for a while? If you have had it for a while has it been unplugged all summer and do you have it plugged into a surge suppresso when running.

This is a stove that I've had for about 7 years and last spring the igniter went. I replaced the igniter with a new one but that one doesn't get hot and glow red.

I have had the stove plugged in all summer while not in use and have had it plugged into a surge suppressor since I first bought it.

I've had some people say they think the bad igniter may have blown a fuse, but I can't find it and was hoping someone could tell me where to find that fuse

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's the correct part. It looks exactly the same and plugs directly into the original stove connector. I can check the part numbers just to verify though.

Thanks

It may just be a bum ignitor even tho new if all else fails try another one

Looks like the fuse is in the upper left corner. It has cover or possibly a fuse holder type holder. Unplug stove, there is still electricity in the capacitors so be careful. Check it with a meter even if it looks good.
