Thanks to everyone for all your assistance. Everyone has been very helpful and a wonderful resource!

Very nice change! Nice clean install, I think you'll love that stove.
I know that the Endeavor can be Very close to the wall, but that looks like less than 4-1/4" to me, have you double checked that?

The Endeavor's back wall minimum clearance is 4.25". We gave a little extra room and had it installed 5" from the back wall. However, it does look closer than 5" because of the built-in rear heat shield that sticks out 1.5" from the stove. So, the rear built-in heat shield is 3.5" from the wall but we are still in compliance (according to the manual) with the stove being more than 4.25" from the back wall. Yes, this stove works well in tight install spots!

Great looking install! Can't wait to see some fire pics when shes lit up! ::-)

Nice install! I burned an Endeavor for 2 seasons before getting the BK, it was a nice/well built stove.

Thanks, why did you switch to the BK?

Thanks, why did you switch to the BK?

When I bought the Endeavor it was intended to be used as a supplemental heat source. Well that quickly changed and we started heating 24/7 right off the bat. My wife worked from home during that time period so feeding the stove wasn't a big deal. She changed jobs and with the Endeavor during the coldest parts of the winter we were coming home to a house in the mid 60s or colder after being gone for 12 hours.

The BK Princess is a larger stove and has better control over the burn rate. The Endeavor with a full load wasn't nearly as controllable as the BK which is pretty typical of a cat stove vs. a non cat stove.

In short we needed a bigger stove and I wanted one with better control for the shoulder season. :)
