Hi again everyone. My question this pm is about the installation of the catalytic thermometer. We have the Appalachian Trailmaster 4N1-XL. The port on the top for the thermometer had a screw which we removed. When we put the probe into the hole it did not go down very far when it seemed to hit metal and stopped advancing, about an inch or hair more. Question is, do we cut the probe to where ther meter is flush with the top of the stove or is the meter probe supposed to advance further into the stove? Thanks much for the knowledge. kevandhel :gulp:
