Thinking ahead to the future when we will need to replace our system 2000 hydronic baseboard system . We currently heat with oil and a wood insert.
Wondering if there is a good product that would replace the system 2000 It would need to burn oil and burn wood.
This would need to be installed and serviced in NJ.
Thx

I'm not aware of any wood/oil combos out there anymore...not in boilers anyways.

A hybrid wood oil furnace is generally the worst of two worlds. Your System 2000 is about as good as it gets so the logical thing is put in wood boiler only. The problem is the upfront cost and space required rarely makes sense. Figure $15 K and up to add wood boiler and storage. That sort of money buys a rack of solar panels and a couple of minisplits.
