Is this big damage?

Before you jack it up to take any sag out check upstairs first with a level. If any reno's have been done over the years they they have corrected for the sag and if you jack it up everything will be out of wack upstairs and that can lead to a can of worms

Thanks for that advice. With having limited time when home yesterday, i took a full soda can and laid it on the kitchen floor to see if any low spots in the suspected area. No rolling of the can in any direction so it might be pretty level. When im back in town in a few days, i will check more thoroughly and also really pinpoint where the joist crack corresponds to in that kitchen ( might actually be under the cabinets. At the least, I don’t suspect significant sagging so I will probably follow your advice closely.
