Suggestions on how to stop creosote that is leaking from my stove pipe adapter that’s directly on the back on the stove?
Post some pics of it

The leak started around the collar very top of the pipe. I installed my pipe backwards (male end up not down). I’m worried when I flip the pipe around the creosote will leak out of the adapter because the adapter is fits on the outside of the stove instead of the inside.

The two pics below are of the initial install of the pipe.
The third pic is how the adapter fits on the back of the stove.

Your pipe is backwards and your chimney is way to large The gasses expanding cause the creosote to condense which the backwards pipe then allows out.

Chimney is 8in would you suggest 6inch? I thought the 8 inch would draw better.
Yes 6" would work much better. Bigger is not better. As the exhaust expands it cools down and slows redusing draft.

Yes, the stove is designed for a 125mm ( 5") flue. Going to 8" is a big jump. Is this single wall stove pipe? If so it also looks a little close to the trim on the top of the wall tile.
