[Hearth.com] Jotul 602 break down

I’ve picked up this old rusty 602. Quick bit of rust removal with drill and brass wheel just to get a start.

I’d like to take this apart and reseal the joints.

Haven’t stuck my head in yet but does the top have bolts holding it on? One video I saw made it look like the top was just knocked off with a few blows.

The top is held on by the four corner screws. Have a ratchet strap around the body to stop the sides from falling, or a helper.
