Since it sounds like this is your first wood stove in the house just wanted to make sure you remember to call the insurance company and let them know that it's in. If they don't know and there is a problem, you may find yourself uncovered.

Also, don't be afraid to make a new post with pics of the installation, and explain your clearances and what you used for a hearth if you want to double check that it is safely installed.

Thanks for the information Pen. Yes it's my 1st stove and I'll send pics if I can do so.

I'm having an issue with the pictures not uploading properly. I don't know how to turn them to be seen better.

How far away from the heat shield are you? Did you install the heat shield with 1 inch spacers off of the wall? What's the distance from the stove to that dry wall and the firewood you have stacked there? How far from that door / ash fender is it to the front of the hearthpad?

That's a nice looking stove.

What's under the tile for backer?

That is a cherry looking F602. Is the interior of the stove in as good condition as the outside?
