Put my new stove in today and got the first break in fire done. I'll do the second one tomorrow, and the third Tuesday. Cant wait to get done so I can get some heat in the house!! My cat also approves of the new heat source. She missed the old stove lol

Got the second break in fire going. Only up to 225 degrees so far and I'm not going to lie it is starting to stink lol. Hoping I didnt add too much wood!

I like the new front door.

Also hoping these low temp burns arent leaving too much creosote in my chimney. Just cleaned it when I put the stove in, so it should be good

No worries . . . typically there isn't much of a fuel load so there shouldn't be much in the way of creosote build up.

Does the Oslo have a stainless steel baffle?

We're going on week number 3 with our Oslo burning 24/7. Keeps our 1500sqft antique house nice and toasty. You'll enjoy it.

I think that stove looks best in black.

That's very true. Only concerned because my chimney probe thermometer didnt even move during any break in burn. I just put it in and I am wondering if it is incorrect as my stove top is currently 550 degrees and the chimney is only showing 300 degrees

First night with a real fire in the oslo. It is heating nicely. I had to turn the air down as it was quickly heading for 600 after it got going. Stove top is around 500 to 550, chimney is only showing 300. This is a brand new probe thermometer and I'm thinking it may be defective

Got it loaded up and the air turned down for an overnight burn. I'll see if it's still burning when I get up for work!

You are going to like the new stove. I am an over the road truck driver and my girlfriend gets to burn the stove more than I do.
She loves the Oslo!

Thanks! So far I do enjoy it. I'm still figuring it out. Every stove is unique. My girlfriend will probably be loading it when she gets home from work every day. She enjoys it too

Not meaning to stir the pot, but did you just say "wife" in one post and "girlfriend" in another?!?!
