This is not a wood stove question exactly but I think this is the best forum for it. I'm looking to purchase a "chiminia" type burner for my patio and really like the Jotul Stove Company's "Froya." But apparently you can't buy the product in the U.S. I was wondering if anyone knows why. U.S regulations about external metal wood burners? Not enough of a market for them in the U.S.? I asked my Jotul dealer and they couldn't help. Interesting, no?

I don't think there are any regulations against them bring sold here. Jotul probably just determined the market wasn't big enough to justify them bringing them here

Stay tuned..... we maybe able to offer them in the near future.
