So how many did you buy? Oh wait, never mind, I thought the sign said "seasoned." ;)

That is one hell of a price:eek::eek:

It's about $5 around here for those joke bags of wood. I think any of us could make a killing selling at that price.

Lol that's at the local gas station they're are a ton of campgrounds and provincial parks around here so
I'm sure they sell. I said to wife I'd sell them twice as much for half the price seasoned lmao!!!

That's like $2-2.50 a log with tax at that price lmao

Around here some of the local kids get ahold of the gas stations who will then sell them to city folks. I think its all good. I might help my son do the same when hes a bit older.

Although never at quite those outrageous of prices, I've been forced to buy camp firewood many times when on camping trips. It just doesn't feel right, considering that I get 100% of my wood at home for free, but it is what it is. I'd rather pay a few bucks for camp firewood than to not have a fire... Or to spend hours scrounging in the already picked over woods, when I could be relaxing by a fire with a cold beer.

That's probably kiln-dried, meets government standards and it is all we are allowed to sell and you buy wood.

A few people near the campgrounds here sell pine bundles for 5 bucks. Or used to, haven't been out that way for 2 years. The guy near me that had some dispensing contraption on his front lawn gave up on it.

IM RICH! At that price I could be a millionare!

Everyone is too obsessed with the expensive wood porn.

I'm minutes from Rock Point provincial park and many many Lake Erie cottages. Sold wood at the end of my driveway for a couple years and just couldn't keep up with demand. Sold them too cheap though

Exactly. Each split is a $2 bill. Like burning money!

...and the likely buyers of that are probably buying it for the flame show with some guests over. Not even getting efficient heat off of it. It's nuts.

Hopefully it doesn't shatter into your eyes. That would be a bad day

When you live on a gravel road, you pay attention to the windshields that aren't cracked;lol
Depending on where you are planning to camp, sometimes you just have to pay the price. Big fines for transporting wood into another province... MNR Burn ban on now so my wood pile for the bonfires won't be changing anytime soon:(

Damn, I'm gonna have to quit my job and build a wood stand at the end of my driveway! I'm in the wrong business!

Bundles like this are pretty common near our national, state and county parks. Around here the locals will have their own bundles set out with a sign in front of their property too. Locally they run from $5-7 typically.
