Our American Harvest 6039 or 6039T dont know which it is, is not heating the room like it was when we viewed it before we purchased it from the people. When I try and increase the heat range above 3 it flashes a red lite over the A button. The flames are good but licking towards the glass. Theres no damper slide under the fire pot , its wide open under there. Richt now have Auger speed on 3 heat range on 3 and inside fan on 6 and blower into room fan on 6. Sorry dont know alot of the proper terminology. Room should be 90 degrees for as small as it is but stays at 64 and its only 46 outside the house. really worried about colder weather coming. Any help would be appreciatted.

Feeling the Heat
what happened to the slide damper? It is probably blowing all the heat right out the exhaust without a damper to slow down the airflow.
