That was some high heart seal I used, it is painted now so no red seen.Looks good. But is there something on the pipe joints? I can't tell from the pics.
Yes I live down from a lumber yard and they give me the wood that is not good enough for them.Did you get oak cut offs?

Ok, that is what it looked like. The goop on the pipe joints is doing nothing. The smoke does not travel through the outer jacket.it is double wall pipe
