Hello everyone and Happy New Year!
I'm looking to replace an old Kodiak wood stove in my garage and I found a nice Kuma Wood Classic stove that I'm going to look at .
Not knowing a lot about this brand and model i have been doing a lot of research and everything seems to be very positive.
I'm thrilled it's made in USA and of good quality.
Id appreciate any input, tips or tricks with this model and brand stove !

Thanks very much !
Ernie

Kuma is a family run business with good support. The Wood Classic is a conventional, tube-secondary, step-top stove with a nice square firebox. Burn fully-seasoned wood in it and the stove should heat well.

I'll report back when I get it installed .

Thanks

I like the simple style of the stove. I can imagine how much heat it will put out, buy a few T-shirts. I bet some of that rust will burn off in a short time.

Can’t believe they put their name right there in the glass.

We just bought a new Kuma Tamarack for our small house build. It'll get installed as we get dried in next month. Living in NETX, our Winters are generally mild, so this will be our primary heat. We have around 6 cords of white oak split and stacked about 2½ years, plus another older oak cord that'll need resplit to fit in this smaller stove.

I'm excited to see this stove perform! I miss our old enormous Heritage smoke dragon.... And our dogs are going to adore the Magic Glowy Box!

Nice. And congrats on having dry wood already. That'll make the learning curve from the new stove a lot easier.
