A guy up the road is slowly cutting down trees so he can enlarge his garden, everytime he cuts one or two down he calls me. I pay him "saw money", good deal for him good deal for me.

I have some other wood I scored that needs to be sorted, cut and split, some of its too long for my stove

Ive split some of it but a long ways to go, the wife has been keeping me busy so not much to to split

Yes, about 75% of the wood I have is red oak, lotsa of seasoning left to go
