Just wanted to see if there is anyone else that finds these pellets to be extremely high ash this year?
My outside tee is filling up within a week or two of high usage and the pot is filling about a third of the way with semi solid ash (I assume the clinkers are due to the lack of air flow).
I used LGs last year and this was not the case at all.
I am using outside air which is clear and it blows forcefully, that is until the tee is full.
Did a full cleaing on the stove at the begining of the season and have burned maybe a ton of pellets and I have had to clean the tee 3 times (I cleaned the tee and the venting last weekend and had to do it again yesterday), I think I did it 3 times for the entire season last year.
I have checked everything I can think of (gaskets, combustion fan, air intake, ash pan etc.) and the only thing I can think is that there is a problem with the pellets, any other thoughts? Thanks.
