Lookin Good ! Maybe you still have time to Kayak the Gauley and have a brew or two. Now that most of the CSS is done. I am still waiting for this humid weather to end so I can start on my log load.

I’m still learning when it comes to collecting wood, but those stacks are on the ground, I’d like to see them on racks or something.

Yes that is always best -- but black locust is very rot resistant , most likely the bottom will be wet but not rotted years from now. I have picked up BL in the woods on the ground many years and it was still solid.
 
I had a nice stack of ash that I recently transferred to my wood shed and I definitely had to put the bottom layer or two back out for another year of seasoning. Still kicking myself for not getting it off the ground sooner. I’ll never do that again.
