Looking for a stove with long burn times

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
The mini splits should be good until it hits 20df and probably the cheapest way to heat honestly.

Even if you are buying wood, don't count on it being ready to burn when you get it. Should count on having to stack it & dry it for a year after you get it. And splitting it as soon as you get it, if not already split.

Just another consideration to consider.
