It was 74 here yesterday. Tomorrow predicting 2-3" of snow down to 2500', which is below me. Guess I'm still not done burning yet.

Same here BS, I finished splitting and stacking today, cold and cloudy, and now it is raining. Went in and started a fire. It felt real good on my sore back. I don't ever remember burning this late.Backwoods Savage said:Well north, two days ago we hit 80 degrees but within our state borders we also saw some high temperatures in the low 40's. Now those low temperatures have reached us along with rain, rain and more rain. It is 41 now. No fire yet but it won't be long. So maybe you are right; time to move north!

North, That looks like beautiful country in your avatar. I always dreamed of living in that kind of country. And thanks for the "back" advice. "Tough guy/stubborn does not work in this area" I know, but I guess I have always been that guy, and am having to learn as I go as I get older.north of 60 said:12c/55f today and 17c/62f tommorow. Warm and clear skies. Ice should be off in time for May long weekend. Flyrods are coming out.![]()
tdfcheif, look after that back of yours. Listen to it if its trying to tell you something. Tough guy/stubborn does not work in this area.

Cheers

Same here chief. I'm just a very lil bit south of you and thought I was done to, but w highs in low 50's to 60 and lows in upper 30's guess I've got a couple more days and nights left. And this is the latest I ever remember burning also. Even when So. Il. weather changes so much by the day.
