PSG manual is very unclear. We have connected the electric heater to the limiter with an 18-volt wire. Because we don't have a 24-volt transformer, should we connect it to the 24-volt outlet in the top left of the limiter? We hesitate because we don't want to cause unanticipated damage.

Secondly, is it OK that the body of the limiter (PCB) is mounted directly to the metal skin of the furnace, without heat-insulating material between?
