after a bit of a dry spell where all the wood on CL was getting snapped up right away, i lucked out to have 2 hits on the same night.
the first one was about 8 minutes from the house. doug fir, mostly split already. the second one was 1 minute from the house. nice medium-sized rounds with few knots, also doug fir. got about 2/3 of a cord. thinking i will get some more tonight to give me somewhere just north of a cord of wood for the week. i was starting to stress, thinking that all the free wood was drying up for some reason (sure seemed like it).
