Hello,
I am planning to modify my INVICTA cast iron insert by creating a secondary combustion system ( link below ) . This process involves drilling two 1-inch holes in the lower part of the back side of the insert, and six smaller holes in the adjacent cast iron wall in the upper side. The idea is for air to enter through the two holes ( with air valve control ), pass through the two cast iron walls, heating up, and then exiting through the six upper holes to create a second combustion process. I know this will void the warranty.
Any recommendation or reference is much appreciated.
Regards
