For those of you out east, there's a new Morso 8142 on eBay, presently at about a grand. It's a floor model being sold by a distributor:

An interesting statement in the ad is that the 8142 is "no longer available" in the US.
One has to wonder how many more times it will take before Morso realizes that stoves which accept only 12" logs are a non-starter here in the US, even if they do look good.
