Hello! I have a Mt. Vernon AE 2014 that came with my home that I just purchased. I have only had wood stoves before, so I am really struggling to make this thing work.

The problem started when I first turned the stove on, it went into auto-clean, then gave me a "Vacuum SW Error" code. I checked the hose and switch, finding nothing wrong, so I replaced the switch, and the error went away. With that fixed, I thought I would be good. I started it up, then I could see the ignition switch turn on and get hot, and the stove would drop pellets in the startup phase, but it would only smoke and not ignite. I tried to give it some go with a little lighter fluid manually, and it did build up a large flame inside and got to the SS-MED mode before giving me a "Min Firepot Temp" code and going into shutdown. It shouldn't give me that since it was a large flame inside there, so I changed the thermocouple thinking that would be part of the issue. Did the same process again, making it have a large flame, and got the same error.

At the same time, with all that smoke buildup, I found that I had some leaks in both my front door seal and my exhaust pipes going out the chimney, so I replaced the seal and used some fireproof caulk to seal the exhaust vent. Once I sealed those back up, now it will not do anything once I restart the stove. It goes from auto-clean, to startup, and then never leaves it, and I never see the ignitor heat up. I thought it was an ignitor issue, so I replaced that, but the new one is doing the same thing, absolutely nothing.

I am thinking maybe it could be the control board going bad and making all these other components start to act up, but as I said, I don't know enough about this stuff to really know what I am talking about! All I know is that the weather is getting colder, and my wife is not going to be happy if I can't get this thing going by the time we really need it so any help at all would be appreciated!

It sound like an air flow problem. Do a complete clean. Check the combustion blower. These pellet stove can get plugged up and you need good airflow. There can be no leaks before the combustion blower. If you have leaks after the combustion blower that will be easier to see.
Edit - after all that you might try the leaf blower trick then a new control card
