My 1991 Stove says UL Listed Floor Protection. What do I need?

I read on the back tag on my 1991 Country Flame (EDIT add model #: R-6) stove the following:
"Use a Listed, Non-combustible floor protector extending 8 inches to each side and 16 inches to the front of the fuel door, and 3 inches to the back of the unit"

I called Imperial (who makes stove board) and they said this probably means Type 1 protection.

But I wanted to check here and see what the thoughts are.
