My Review of Boreal Pellets

Boreal is a Canadian company that is well known for horse bedding. My dealer sold out of the first batch of their pellet fuel in a few hours So when they got more I decided to try them out.

Positives: Very little fines, smelled great, very little ash.

Cons: very long pellets ( 1.5-2in)) that catch in the auger. (could hear the motor straining against them)
No Heat. I think if the feeding issue was resolved with smaller pellets then the heat may be slightly better.

Having said all this... other people had some success with them. Mine are being traded in for New England which I know has a bad rep on here but have worked out great for me.
