LOL My Wife is awesome.. She can get a better secondary burn rolling than I do! :-)

I bring in the wood and she feeds it!

For a $350 dollar stove from Lowes last year this thing is great. We load it about 3 times a day and the house stays in the 70's 85-90% of the time. The rest of the time it is in the upper 60's. It seems to be we can get a pretty easy 12 hour burn out of it even with outdoor temps in the teen's at night and in the high 20's during the day. (how can we have 6" of snow and it's not even December yet..)

and the furnace has only ran... wait a second.. oh yeah, its shut off.

Good deal. Got my Century at Lowes on clearance this past January. Got to love the 2.9 CF box.

My heat is still in the OFF position as well. ;-P

congrats on the stove...and the wife :) . i hope you said merry christmas and happy new year to the oil man, cause it doesnt look like he's stopping by any time soon.

Nice stove and you can't beat the price you paid. My Century's a little smaller than your's--only 2 cf firebox, but I love it. It's so much more efficient than my old smoke dragon. Enjoy the winter--you'll be staying warm while keeping some money in your pocket.

I paid a lot more and get half the burn time (I still love my stove). My wife called me on the road to tell me that she akes a better fire than me. She does lots of things better than I do :)

yea...they say that about women LOL

Yep - Really hoping to not have the propane guy stop much. Still need it for hot water, cook stove and dryer.. but I have some ideas about hooking up a DHW coil to the stove, and we haven't been using the dryer as much.

The best part about the stove is I sold my old one and another old one I picked up for free and I actually made 50 bucks net!

Happy Burning! It's the best part about winter!

moshiersr,

Is it my imagination or is that stove leaning to the right? :ohh:
