Maybe I missed the introduction but check out this low priced heritage. Ember protection only on the hearth and no stupid ashpan. Only 6" rear clearance.

Looks like they skipped the side door which is a bummer.
 
Looks like a mini Manny. Wonder if it loads those 18" logs north/south?
 
Hate my ash pan , but wouldn't buy a stove without a side door.
 
The Castleton is a 1.9 cu ft soapstone cube introduced this year to give more people an option into Hearthstone. It's a great looking and performing little stove that in our area should take care of most ~1700 sq ft homes. $2149 is a killer price for this stove.
 
What's the real usable fire box dimensions? BTU's look comparable to WS Keystone.
 
At 2.3 (manufacturer spec) CF for the heritage, it was barely big enough to burn overnight. Hearthstone was excessively liberal with their numbers.
 
Looks like a nice little addition to their line.
