Just picked up an Ashley Mini pellet stove from our local TSC. They had it on sale for $649 (over 1k everywhere else) and when I went into the store, the only one they had was the floor model. It had a few scratches so they knocked another 15% off.
Ended up getting it and the imperial floor protector for $640 out the door.
Since I only need ember protection with this stove, I cut down the floor board and tucked it nicely into a corner in our dining room.
Will pickup the vent kit tomorrow with an extra 45° elbow and straight pipe. That should button it up. This will mainly be used during the shoulder seasons and when the temps dip below 5F and the wood stove struggles. Should do the trick.
