New Progress - moved in and first burn underway- Thanks

So the old Keystone was moved out and the new Progress was moved in - Thanks to all that responded to my thread asking best ways to move it in =using the dolly was the winner!!

Thanks to Woodstock for helping me out with install questions - great service as always

Now first burn and watching the secondaries was awesome... this thing is a beast like all have said and will be great on those -20 degree nights we have around here.

Looking for tips and advice now that I have it ... though probably only do a couple burn in fire and then let it sit until fall. Even though we are supposed to be in mid 40's tomorrow nite.

Next up a tri-axle of wood coming in next week....

That is an awesome stove and hearth! I had a great first year with the Ideal Steel. Get that wood as dry as you can. What is the chimney setup?

Different stove, being a hybrid, and it's bigger, but I'd be interested to hear comparisons between the PH and Keystone. Where did the Keystone go?

Ahh, good old Davis WV, previously home of the Blackwater 100 race. I bet the LEOs miss all the revenue generated by handing out tickets to everybody and their brother, well, BIL in my case. Don't cross the street on your ATV in Davis WV...

so rainy and damp day and only 50 degrees.... So loaded it to the gills and after a hour cruising along at 500 stove top temp... Can crack windows if needed

Will see how long this thing burns....

As yet another admirer of your hearth... Can you give any info on the stone you used? Company, style, etc.

It was 5 years ago when I go that stone so I dont remember the mfg but I got it at a Lowes. My wall behind it is 1/2 inch concrete board and a half inch air gap
