I bought a second home up in northern Wi with about 950sq ft with a outdated prefab fire place that was great for a just fire but no heat! I have had plenty of wood stoves at my home in IL and first thing I said when we bought the place is fireplace has to go. I installed a enerzone solution 2.3 wood stove, I wanted something with tight clearances and the right price. I found one , 2 hours away and it was like new, guy that had it said he didn’t like because it wasn’t making enough heat for him 🤷🏻, well the bricks were all black and any steel inside was full of creosote. So was he burning green wood? Most likely and not hot enough! Well she is installed, heating the house up in a heartbeat with the new addition ( attached garage, turned into living space) and extra 300 sq ft that is insulated but not done 100% yet, we had the house up to 75* just adding wood here and there as we were out. I’m burning VERY DRY birch that been inside the other garage for years that previous owner left, plus some mixed wood that was cut and delivered but not dry enough yet, seller even said it was not dry enough yet but I figured for next year. Nice little stove, make tons of heat, when I come back up again I’m going to bring a few pieces f some dry oak for at night. This is the first time that I’m burning 100% birch, it’s great to start a fire but I call it gopher wood, put some in and go for more 🙈. I’m not done with wall behind the stove yet but I will get there. Pictures look like it’s close but I’m about double what specs are asking for
