I could use some help figuring out how to install vent piping for my new pellet stove. I purchased a Castle pellet stove and have a hearth with pipe through the wall already (See pictures below). This chimney has not been used before (house built in the late 80's). I had a chimney cleaning company come and clean/ inspect and they gave the OK, said all looks good.
Please correct me if I'm wrong and point me in the right direction but I think I need this adapter: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DuraVent-DVL-6-in-Chimney-Adapter-in-Black-6DVL-ADC/205544487
Along with this other adapter: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Simpson-Dura-Vent-Black-Chimney-Adapter/3134693

Then just normal 3in pellet stove piping down to a T adapter and then stove.

Any help here is greatly appreciated!

I did 2 stoves into an existing flue through a crock like yours. One I had the dealer install, the other I did myself. In both cases I simply ran the pipe through the crock into the flue. I then packed rock wool around the pipe in the crock. I then used a stove pipe trim collar on the inside to dress it up.

Something like this (course you need the 3" version):

The dealer I believe just packed fiberglass insulation batting in around the pipe. Following the manufacturers guide on the pellet pipe I bought for the other stove I used rock wool to pack in there. Rock wool is more fire resistant.
