Hi Everyone!

I just picked up a used Fireview for $150.
I new it would need some work and figured I could refurb the stove myself.

Here are a few photos.
Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks [emoji1]

Definitely needs a little work, but could be a fun project. The stone looks a little dingy, and could use a good scrubbing. Have you located a cat replacement yet?

Agreed. I'm looking forward to this project. Gonna give the stone a good scrubbing for sure.
Woodstock online store says the cat is out of stock right now but I found a cat online through firecat.com.
Do I have to buy from Woodstock?

wow congrats on your great deal. I have used the same exact stove to heat my home for the past six years. you can get the combustors elsewhere, although it seems woodstock was the cheapest when i replaced mine this year. Welcome to the woodstock family, you made a great investment that will pay dividends for years to come!!

Hey thanks! Glad to hear from a user of the same stove.
I'm so looking forward to getting it installed for next season! !

If you were closer to woodstock I would say ship/deliver it to them and have them rebuild it back to brand new specs.
Yes I would consider that option but distance is not too bad. What will kill me is the exchange rate right now. Our Canadian dollar is struggling now and anything I get from Woodstock will cost me 40% more.[emoji31] [emoji31]
