Sorry if this has been covered, I couldn’t find it. I have an older Newport PS Stove, just replaced the igniter. The stove is sooting bad, totally blackening the glass and back panel and dropping lots of “clinkers”. The owners manual says there’s a restrictor, it appears mine is auto? Is there anyway to adjust the airflow on this stove or is there something else internal messed up?

Thanks

You don’t have a rod on the rt side of the stove? Is there a hole for one?
