North America Wood Pellets

Hi everyone. I am new to the site and new to burning. I have a lennox pi40 insert and it's working great thus far. I currently burn newp, easy blaze, awf white pine, Corinth softwood, okanagans gold, purcell softwood, cannawick, and my favorite energy logs aka north Idaho woods. My awesome wife always picks me up different pellets to try if she is out and about. She picked me up two bags of north american wood pellets? Never heard of them so I was wondering if anyone had feedback on these. Thanks.

Just got threw about 3/4 of a ton of thoes... Not a bad pellet.. Not the hottest out there and the ash was so so I think it rates on the lower end of the pellet scale.. They worked for me though, def worth giving a shot.

I still have a ton left in my shed. With my stove I've notice that the ash is light and fluffy. About the only problem I have with them. Is that there is no shiny finish on them to help them drop down into the auger. So I started to mix them in a 5 gallon bucket with hard wood pellets. Which has helped a lot. I mix them with 1/3 soft wood,1/3 hard wood and then top off the rest of the bucket with soft wood. Recently I picked up a bunch of Stove Chow. Mind you my stove is not a fan of hard wood pellets. But so far so good. I think they cut back on the size of the Shove Chow pellet size. As all the pellets are less then 1/2 an inch. They flow smoothly through my augers. But to smooth. I really had to cut back on my feed rate. But I do get a good flame from them.

Hello Im from Maine and the pellets I have tried from arizona to Maine the ones Im partial to are NorthEast a soft wood pellet light in color smells are organic burns a hot flame and as clean a burn as Ive seen Heatrs Home depot brand very dirty burn weak flame alot of ash,the next will be another home product New Englander,stay posted

I picked up a half ton of the north Americans off of craigslist for $4.00 a bag.I only burned 2 bags so far and they seem to be an ok shoulder pellet

North American Pellets are the worst pellet I have burned since I started in 2008. Way too much ash for me.

Like someone said above very flaky ash. Its like its snowing in my stove. If you pat down the ash pan you can delay having to clean the stove.

I had to burn north American pellets at the end of last year. It was the only thing I could purchase. I got two bags left from last year and I am not looking forward to burning them.
