Northern Warmth Supreme Douglas Fir 2021/ 2022

This has been my go-to pellet since Okanagan went under. I've always liked the way they burn with extremely low ash and lots of heat, but this year's pellets are somehow even better! I would usually have to give the pot a quick scrape once a day or every other day, but it's been a few days in and nothing, the pot is perfect. The dust content did increase slightly within the bags, but nothing tremendous.

Sadly, quality pellets on Long Island are NOT cheap. I can buy two tons of Stove Chow from Home Depot almost for what one ton of The Northern Warmth Douglas Fir cost. 🙄

Have almost 2 tons of the NWSDF I got 2 years ago, think they were $365 or $375/ton. $425 now. Fantastic heat, very little ash, save them for really frigid days which over the last 2 years we didn't have any. Have used 4 bags of them so far this winter, will use 2-3 more tonite thru Sun according to the forecast.

Well This a Weekend were burning the Fir!

Best pellet around! They did change the size on the ton I just picked up. Smaller pellet means more fuel in the burnpot and that will provide more heat. Most expensive pellet, least amount of ash, and lowest maintenance for cleaning etc.

have 3 tons sitting in the basement from early buy last spring.. under 400.00 then.
way too pricey now to buy again..
Matra, a canadian softwood, are almost 9K BTU and are my regular softwood going forward.

I got them at Fallon's Home & Hearth in North Hampton NH in 2020. Currently they sell for $495/ton, but Fallons has limited delivery options but they don't specify what those are.
East Coast Lumber in Hampstead NH has them, $489/ton, limited delivery area.
