I know there has been tons of posts on if an OAK is necessary. I say do not delay! we just installed ours after 2 months without one we had a cold draft prior to installing so we decided to give it a try.

We are producing the same heat on a much lower setting which means much less pellet use. Thanks to all who previously gave feedback on the OAK.

The only thing we did notice is on a damp and foggy morning we had a very low flame and I am assuming it was from the moisture in the air. Am I correct?

Thanks again Hearth.com
