Installed my OAK kit on my Accentra 52I early saturday. It was quite an easy install to the unit if you follow the instructions. It cost $118, so I guess it should be. I ran my intake thru the ash dump in the bottom of my fireplace and out the clean out door on the outside of my house. Only about 6 feet of vent to fresh air. I attached the outside end to a 3" down draft dryer vent. It looks nice and finsihed and water will not get it. I screwed the draft flap open for now and will remove them in summer. A wire mesh will keep stuff out while in use.
Stove seems much happier and burning more complete. Much less ash build up on the pot and seems to be using less pellets although its hard to tell as it is warmer now. I guess in 10 months, I will know better. I know one thing, if it cuts down on the draft inside my 1700 farmhouse, my wife will be happier.
