I put out the outside xmass light yesterday (good timeing)and today we are getting the first ground covering snowfall.I know it wont last!changing to rain by afternoon, but it will sure look nice on a relaxing sunday with the stove purring away.

The lakeshore has gotten quite a bit but for the inlanders, this is our first storm today......expecting 6-8"+ this afternoon-tomorrow. Then COLD and the lake effect machine kicks in..........Good day for another log on the fire, a Winter Lager or three and the Packers this afternoon......perfection........... :cheese:

we are in Southcentral CT as well and we just woke up to the same thing. This is our first snowfall with the stove and I just stacked it to the brim and she's warming up. What a great thing it is.

Getting our first good snow fall here in the Detroit area right now!
5" to 7" by Monday evening.

im getting alittle jealous :) The storm track is alittle to our west right now which will give you the snow and for us mostly rain.Late next week the pattern shifts alittle more to the east giving us colder and better chances of snow.

I too am jealous, CT hasn't seen a good solid snow or even a particularly snowy winter in a few years. I, for one, live for snow much like school children do. You see, I work at a university, when it shuts down for bad weather, I don't go to work, but I still get paid. It's a beautiful thing, when it happens.
