Hi all, me again, we are hard at it and weather permitting I may drill this weekend. My question today is about the OAK, in my case it's a must as my home is very air tight, therefore what can I use besides the ugly flexible stuff that would run alongside the exhaust vent? ordinary 3 inch single wall? would that not sweat and make a wet mess on the hearth pad? What are my options?

any takers?

Sounds like you already have the venting. But if not or if you can return it, take a look at Selkirk DT. Concentric venting that is approx 6" in diameter and looks like wood stove black smoke pipe. I didn't like the look of the dinky 4" venting.
