I have a couple of pear trees that have been slowly dying for a few years. Is this decent wood to burn or not? I have not heard much of anything about fruit trees on here so I figured I'd ask. Got to cut them down either way.

Pear burns awesome, like apple.

Thanks guys. Might save a little for cooking but the rest will be for heat.

If you know anyone who does homemade smoking of meat, they might be very glad to get some pear wood- and you might be able to barter getting something yummy back in return
