Anyone know what BTU value is used for this test so that an actual lb/hr feed rate can be calculated?

Tested to: ASTM E1509-95, ULC/ORD-C-1482-M1990, ULC S627-M93 Room Heating Pellet Burning Type,
APFI, (UM) 84-HUD FOR USE ONLY WITH PELLETIZED WOOD OR SHELLED FIELD CORN FUEL.
Input Rating: 40,000 Btu's/hr

I hear ya. Pellet size, auger design, etc all come into play.

I was wondering if there is a "standard" pellet used and what the btu rating of that pellet is when the tests are done. There must be a spec somewhere for the pellet called out by those tests that are listed.
