You can get a Big E right now thats new for around 1K. On CL for 650-700. The crosslink kit is 1800+-. There is Pseries Harmans for under 1500 on CL. Or I think Crosslink inc has a P68 with kit installed for under 3k used. I know the payback with mine is going to be about 2 years at current oil and Electric prices.
I'm sure someone put a lot of thought and effort into that system; but when I look at it, I think of two words: Rube Goldberg!
First of all, you have altered and compromised the stove. Safety, well that's another question. I'd like to hear what your insurance company says about it.
Stove has been modified therefore there is no insurance company that will touch it with a 100' pole. Unless you spend the big bucks to get it certified again by UL $50,000 to $100,000 and 6 - 12 stoves you will never see again because they are destroyed in testing
